Chris Morgan

Chris Morgan serves as CEO of LBMC W Squared. Chris joined W Squared in 2006 as one of the first staff accountants of the newly founded organization. During his career with LBMC W Squared, Chris worked his way through the ranks of the organization holding several positions including Controller, Client CFO, Implementation Specialist, and Sales/Account Manager, that contributed to the company’s growth and success. In 2017, Chris played a key role in the merger with LBMC and ensured a streamlined approach across the combined companies’ book of business. Prior to stepping into the CEO role, Chris served as Chief Operating Officer where he had full responsibility of the day-to-day operations, client relationships, and team member success.

Over the course of his career, Chris has had the privilege of working with a diverse group of clients in a variety of industries, including healthcare, SaaS, information technology, and professional services. He has supported clients from startup/pre-revenue status to closing multimillion-dollar acquisitions and exits. Chris has been instrumental in providing clients with the right people, processes, and systems to allow them to scale while managing their costs.

Chris is an Australian native and came to the U.S. on a college tennis scholarship.  He is a licensed CPA and graduated from Murray State University in 2006 with an Accounting degree.
